Please take your place and sit next to the others
The candles are lit now and the casket is covered
Memories smothered by the tears you’ve been crying
You haven’t discovered that this dead man is lying
The truth he’s been hiding’s that he’s really a sadist
Burying others just to take in their faces
Living’s so tasteless until you erase it
Then pain turns to grief and your tears are erasers
Sobs of the fakers, you stage hands and players
Caring and loving when you’re all really haters
Sick masturbators who fondle their sickness
Death unto others til it’s time to dismiss this
Til you find a new victim, quick just like this kid did
Dead in a casket, false memories fixed it
We’re all into sick shit, we’re all so perverted
Fingering wounds til it’s all introverted
Making us nervous, the victim’s the witness
The one who can’t speak though we all wish to listen
Shadowy halls hide the stories and pictures
Our devious ways tucked away in these fissures
The cracks in our minds that tell the whole story
The one’s who are perfect lead lives that are boring
Killing each other til we all keep this secret
The man in the box has the truth and he’ll keep it
Notes: I was listening to some music and this image came to me of congregation at the funeral of a man they all hated because he was wicked and evil and knew they were, too. I rarely write fictional pieces, but this one felt too good to pass up.

Your words are like a knife in the back, but I’m already dead
I want to give you a smack, take the knife, stab you instead
Then grab you by the head and stab you in the chest
Make your heart stop too, it won’t hurt, don’t act upset
Cause that crap you said, another line to lead me along
What about the time you made me go and play your song?
I tried for way too long to control away the bleeding
Now you can spill it too. Easy, don’t quit your breathing
I want you see to me, look at me while you feel this
Put your hand inside my veins. Here you go, you can steal this
Take it all away now, let it seep into your fingerprints
This can be a part of you, bitch. Another drop to linger with
I gotta stop, I need to quit, I’ve been going down in fire
But if I have to go, you’re coming too, you fucking liar
What’s the matter? Tired? Do you feel a little dizzy?
Perhaps you miss your blood or is it that you miss me?
Why is it that you hit me? What the hell did I do?
I think it’s in defense, the blood on you is my proof
You went to drain my heart of every thing that’s in it
So I beat you to the punch, you just started what I finished
And now we’re both our victims, they’re staring at our business
Every one is watching, they’re quiet cause they listen
The local news reports it convincingly and literally
Is this all for real or is it all said figuratively?
Why don’t you come and sit here with me and maybe we’ll discuss it
Oh, sorry I forgot, we just killed ourselves in public
This one has gone to sleep now. Which one of them’s the author?
What’s the reason for it and what’s the blood shed have to offer?
Notes: I ditched the fast paced, rhyme laced delivery and replaced it with a slower, intentionally rough pace that’s meant to paint a scene. Before a few retards freak out, it’s very general for a reason.
Throwing some time the Neowin way

I rarely mention Neowin here. There’s a plethora of reasons why.
I’m going to be contributing some exclusive content to Neowin once again. After skipping a year, we’re bringing back the Neowin Community Game Awards. Blackice912 is working on the scripts as we speak and DirtyLarry is doing some kick ass graphic work. Me? Well, for now, I’m project lead, I guess, though it’ll be my job to do all the writing for the article once the votes are in. You should expect to see nominations starting in a few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled.
The second, and probably more popular project, is the NeowinCAST News Edition. Yes, we’re bringing it back. Recording should start next week and Rob and I plan on doing weekly shows. He’s promised to take on the chore of editing which helps me deal with the load of planning the show out and then hosting it. Hosting is harder than you think and it’s the reason why I refuse to work with anyone but Rob at this point. We just work well together and it makes my job a lot easier.
Well, that’s about it. Both of these tidbits have been heard here first. I just hope the guys at Neowin don’t mind lol.
