The Stadium Tour
It’s long been a dream of mine to be able to go around and see some of the more beautiful baseball stadiums around the country. Well, with what started as an off the cuff mention of it has spawned life into things. Joe and I have decided to visit two stadiums this summer. On June 30th, we’ll be in Philly for a game against the Mets and, on July 28th, in Baltimore for a game against the Yankees. I’m actually pretty stoked about it, though the idea of sharing a hotel room, for a homophobe like myself, is something not nearly as worthy of my anticipation.
This should be a nice break, though. Nice car ride with music blasting and just a general love for the game of baseball. I’m hoping we can, as we get older and our income increases, visit stadiums further off such as Texas and Seattle, but I’ll definitely find myself enjoying the present. I really can’t wait. It’s something fun and different.
With that said, you guys have any suggestions for baseball stadiums that one just has to see in their life time? I’d love to get a few ideas.
