And as for replacements of windows software, I like the mac versions better, their programs work seamlessy with the operating system. Also an advantage of not having the majority of the market (for now) is that mac does not have viruses, not because its not possible, just because windows is much bigger, more people spend time hacking windows, not OS X. In the past i had agreed with you on the gaming part, mac suck for it. But now with the intel chips, dual core processing, and boot camp, we can have the best of both worlds. Right now i think that the macbook pro, and macbook, are two of the best computers on the market, they both can run windows, and they can run OS X, you get windows for work if you need it, and games, and the beauty and stability of OS X, all of this is coming on , in my opinion, the best looking laptops out there, so now with intel and bootcamp, we have a choice, more people will be making the switch to Apple. :) you are correct on a couple of things, windows does have more software, since it has such a large market share, but mac is making its way up the chain slowly.
