Well, I’m a bit brain dead when it comes to writing any rhymes, so I’m going to have to waste your time with a journal entry instead. Don’t worry, it will be filled with sex, drama, drugs and rock & roll. Ok, maybe only rock & roll (if that much).

Thursday, Joe and I went to a Yankee game after my ex co-worker, Sal, offered me a chance to buy some extra tickets he had. They were pretty good seats and we wound up sitting near a crazy hot girl. While Joe was a little turned off by her general psychotic nature, I was in heaven lol. The game was what really counted though. It was close, yet the Yankees won and, best of all, we got to sing “Enter Sandman” when Mariano Rivera entered the game. Seriously, if you ever go to New York, pick up a cheap pair of Yankee tickets and experience the moment. There’s few things like it.

We actually have tickets to another game in June. This one is a bit more important, though. It’s a Yankee/Red Sox game. I’m impatiently waiting for the day to come. That should be a blast and then some.

In the world of Neowin, things have been interesting, lately. There was a huge staff turn over the past few days in which inactive staffers were set to Veteran mode and a bunch of outstanding members were brought on as Forum Mods. It’s kind of eerie to think that I’m now one of the veteran staffers. I had kind of settled into the role of new kid on the block and never noticed that I stopped fitting that title about 3 months in. I’ve definitely matured a lot since I first came on and I’ve also learned to bite my tongue a bit. This helps in not pissing off upper management as much as I used to lol.

I’m sure some people think I’m a bit of a loser for being so passionate about Neowin. Maybe I am, but I love that place because it’s the only time I really get to talk technology with other people. I work with people who couldn’t give a shit and the few friends I have are far from being tech nerds. It’s an escape for me and a chance to learn about the things I enjoy. Oh and I get to ban assholes and, well, I haven’t figured out how to do that in real life yet.

And finally, the rock and roll part. The new Godsmack album is out and I finally got it. Expect a review in a few days. I’m trying to get a better listen so I can better judge it unlike how I rushed to judgement over the last Staind album.

I really don’t know what else to say that won’t bore people senseless. I miss Maria. People shouldn’t expect to just pop up after being gone for so long and suddenly expect me to do them a favor. I hate my current job. I love girls. I hate girls. Your mother…

Oh, and for any gamers that may read this: What do you guys think of Battlefield 2? Worth the purchase without the expansion pack?
